The sad realization
Today I was on the arc trainer at the gym and a girl who was probably the same height as me came in. She had zero love handles, and the body I dream of. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I wanted to cry and as I type this, I am. I just can't get over how much my weight has truly affected every aspect of my life. I am down and out. I believe, this may be rock bottom. The worst thing is, I weighed less than I do right now when I was only 2 month post partum with the twins. How sad is that?? I mean, really. That is ridiculous. There is no reason I should weigh this much, feel this bad. Today is the beginning of my transformation. When I feel weak, I will come read this post. I cannot feel this way any longer. It isn't healthy and it is only hurting me. I have a short temper because I'm so down on myself. It isn't fair to me and it isn't fair to my family. I have to do this for them: for my sweet babies and my amazing husband. They need a happy, healhty momma and wife. And soon, they will have it! I MUST DO THIS!

The battle
Saturday's that I don't have to teach spin are a battle. It's hard to get out of bed, it's hard to decide what I'm going to do once I get out of bed!! I can't wait until working out is just part of my normal day and I don't have an inner battle Ugh

Muay Thai
Today was Muay Thai Tuesday! LOVE IT! We worked on our 15 count today. It was so much fun. Such a great workout and with such great people! I'm in my happy place right now! :)

Goal for 2012: Blog more, run more, weigh less
Sooo..I never even blogged my race results. I ran the Buffalo Half Marathon on May 29,2010 in 2:57. It was hard, I was undertrained, it was hot, I was tired from the best concert ever the night before, it was ugly. Very, very ugly.
So, for 2012, I will be attempting a second half, this time I will be prepared, this time, I will not go to a concert the night before, this time, I will train in the weather that will most likely be the same as race day. July 15th, 2012...Erie, Pa...HERE I COME!!!!!!
I also, have set a goal to run 365 miles this year, which with training for a half, should be a piece of cake! :)
Jan 1, I ran one mile. Down to 364 to go!
Today, I shoveled snow for at least an hour, holy snow storm!!!
I will blog again tomorrow..I will blog again tomorrow..I will blog again tomorrow!
